Hire Power SA is female-owned and managed by Jeannine Dickie (Executive Recruitment Specialist) and supported by Monique Prince (Senior Recruitment Consultant). In addition, we have a flexible staff complement comprising IT and Social Media Consultants, Web Developers, Accountants and Psychometrists. We have been placing people and changing lives since February 2000. We are a BBBEE Level 4 supplier. We were approached by Talentor International in August 2008.  Talentor is an international recruitment network which specialises in executive search (in the management and senior management segment). Hire Power SA became an official partner in January 2019, expanding and enhancing our service offering and global reach.

Capacity to Perform

Founded in February 2000, we have successfully established a supportive and diverse client base. We have been involved in several successful “Greenfield” projects within the manufacturing and customer service centre (BPO) sectors,  which has given us the experience and ability to handle mass recruitment projects. These projects have been for: Discovery Health, Momentum Thebe ya’Bohela, iSon BPO, Corning Products, Visteon Automotive, Saffil Automotive, Flexider, Rainbow Nations Renewable Fuels, Alucast (Murray and Roberts) and D & B Interior Trim (Pretoria), Magna Intier (East London), Lear Corporation, and Coega Concentrate (Famous Brands). To date, many of these clients have remained loyal, and we have built up a mutually beneficial and long–standing relationship with them.

Hire Power SA operates as a boutique recruitment and placement agency. We have extensive experience in the IT, financial services, medical and pharma, FMCG retail, engineering and manufacturing sectors. We are experienced in recruiting from entry level (Operator level) to Executive level. Jeannine is also registered with the SA Board of People Practices, as an accredited HR Professional and Hire Power SA is a member of both the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber and Exporter’s Club EC. Other services include career coaching and guidance, a variety of assessments, forensic / background checks, graduate recruitment and softskills training workshops.

Approach to Recruitment Services

Many of our placements are made through headhunting (direct and executive searching) and active sourcing using platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook and Twitter.  We have an established website where we place our positions on-line and this has proved to be a successful recruitment tool. We have built up a valuable database of skilled candidates over the years and our ATS is always our first search method when sourcing candidates. We utilise our own internal cloud based database specially tailored for our organisation which enables us to search for suitable candidates within minutes. Unless it’s not physically possible, our candidates are interviewed in person. Alternatively, they are screened and interviewed via telephone and video call (using Zoom or SKYPE).

Jeannine has been active in the executive recruitment of managers, specialists and professionals for over 25 years. Her Port Elizabeth-based operation functions at national level as a generalist recruiter, sourcing and placing people across all sectors. She works alongside her client as their recruitment partner, offering them the complete recruitment solution and uniting talent with opportunity. She carries in-depth knowledge of the South African job market and labour legislation. Monique Prince

Monique has 15 years generalist recruitment experience and presently manages the RPO Call Centre project. Monique is an experienced Recruiter in the field of Client Services, placing Call Centre and Medical Professionals in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sectors. She has also been very successful in placing Engineering candidates such as qualified Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Project and Quality Engineers, with OEM’s, 1st and 2nd Tier Component manufacturers, and in FMCG and agricultural sectors. Monique has built up a data base of qualified Artisans (Millwrights, CNC Machinists, Toolmakers and the like) which she regularly places out on assignment.
