KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOBS
  • Ensure correct raw material is in place, on time at the right price to support what needs to be produced
  • Ensure a production schedule is in place that supports what needs to be produced
  • Ensure accuracy of all actual stock (raw material, WIP, finished goods) to records
  • Manage compliance to processes in all activities (purchasing, receiving, stock movement, dispatch, regrind, admin and systems)
  • Control returnable packaging
  • Ensure dispatching meets customer call-offs
  • Manage people
  • Ensure equipment availability, care and maintenance
  • Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are met
  • Liaise with customers as required ensuring their satisfaction
REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
  1. A relevant degree / diploma (Logistics / Warehousing)
  2. Minimum 8 years’ experience, which includes stores, warehousing, MRP, stock control in an automotive environment
  3. Minimum 5 years people supervision or management
  4. In-depth knowledge of warehousing and stock control processes and systems in a manufacturing environment.
  5. High level of Excel skill
  6. Valid drivers’ license and own transport
