This is a permanent, full-day position, and working hours are from 08h00 to 16h30. Overtime may be required.

The purpose of the position is to ensure that all risks (including but not limited to shrinkage, safety, security and health) within the division, are effectively managed, but introducing and maintaining the Company's Risk Control Programme

Appointment will be made on in accordance with the Company's EE Plan.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 year's experience in a risk control environment.
  • A National Diploma Safety Management / Samtrac
  • A background within FMCG is highly advantageous
  • Must be able to interact confidently at all levels to drive compliance to OHS, Food Safety, emergency planning, motor vehicles and legislation

This is a permanent, full-day position, and working hours are from 08h00 to 16h30. Applicant must be prepared to travel locally and nationally at regular intervals.

The purpose of the position is to ensure that all new membership applications are properly underwritten; that audit reports are uptodate and actioned; ensuring that the scheme wesite is regularly updated; that the changes to the rules of the Scheme, as well as approval from trustees and principal officer and submission to register takes place; all meetings are co-ordinated, prepared for, and attended and that minutes are correctly taken and handed out to the relevant board members and other relevant parties; compiling regular newsletters and articles for the cllient, and much more.

Appointment will be made on in accordance with the Company's EE Plan.

Minimum Requiremena:

  • Must have Matric, a valid driver's licence and your own vehicle
  • Must be able to use the vehicle for work purposes
  • A National Diploma / Degree in Public Admin / Law / Commerce is highly advantageous
  • Must be able to communicate very well in English, both written and spoken (at a high level). The ability to speak Xhosa would be an advantage
  • Must be able to interact confidently at all levels to drive compliance and escalate member and provider queries

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the proper preventative maintenance is being performed on all machinery and equipment in plant
  • Ensure that breakdowns are attended to speedily and efficiently
  • Provide frequent updates and reports to the Maintenance Manager
  • Must also be able to handle repairs and maintenance of hydraulic equipment and machinery
  • Must also be able to do preventative maintenance to pipe, pumps etc. Pipe Fitting (Industrial Steam)
  • Should also be able to weld (mig and tig)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Trade Tested Boilermaker
    • Matric with N3 is an added advantage
    • Proven supervisory experience acquired within a manufacturing environment
    • At least 5 years mechanical maintenance experience acquired within a manufacturing environment
    • Must be PC literate an be able to communicate comfortably and professionally

  • Ensure that all new and existing installations are SANS 10142 Compliant
  • Oversee contractors on site
  • Issue Hot Work permits
  • Provide frequent updates and reports to the Maintenance Manager
  • Minimum Requirements:

    • Trade Tested Electrician
    • Registered Installation Electrician
    • Matric with N3 is an added advantage
    • Proven supervisory experience acquired within a manufacturing environment
    • At least 5 years Electrical maintenance experience acquired within a manufacturing environment
    • Must have experience in Electronics
